STAIND, SCARS ON BROADWAY, TESTAMENT Part Of 'Rock Band' Download Catalog

Harmonix and MTV Games announced today new singles from STAIND and SCARS ON BROADWAY will make their debut in the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content. Available July 29, SCARS ON BROADWAY — consisting of SYSTEM OF A DOWN members Daron Malakian (vocals/guitar) and John Dolmayan (drums),in addition to Franky Perez (guitar/backing vocals),Danny Shamoun (keyboards/percussion),and Dominic Cifarelli (bass) — exclusively release their first single to Rock Band's download catalog, "They Say", from their self-titled debut. "They Say" will be available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft).

Another debut will be STAIND's "This Is It" — the first single from their forthcoming sixth studio album, "The Illusion of Progress". STAIND's last three studio albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, earning their place as one of the most successful rock bands of the new millennium. In the past decade, STAIND has sold more than 12 million records worldwide and have had four #1 singles. "This is It" will be available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360).

TESTAMENT dig into their catalog with their first Rock Band download, "Electric Crown", from their 1992 studio album "The Ritual", when they moved from speed metal to heavier more melodic metal. "Electric Crown" will be available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360).
